Tote Bag x 3

Who says domestic sewing machine struggles with webbing? My entry level Elna eXplore 240 can prove you wrong. I'm no expert at sewing webbings. Should I have used a specific needle, or foot? I'm pretty sure that's one way of DIYing ballpoint needles from sharp needles....

Chicken Stencil Tee + Metallic Skirt combo

Today, I'm letting my child be a child, with a normal tee shirt and a simple skirt.
Sometimes I wonder if I've been making too much grown-up style clothes for a six-year-old. I decide what to make, which fabric to use, and she just wears them without the option of being taken to shops to choose what's on the shelf for everyone else. Fortunately, she's not complaining and I suppose she will never run out of clothes as long as my machines are chugging, but somehow, I'd like to involve her more so the clothes she wears have her voices too.

A Fifty-Shades-of-Grey Jacket

Around this time last year -- Okay, 10 months ago to be exact -- I made one of my proudest produces, a Skinny laMinx Jacket.  I adore it so much that most of the time I let it rest in my closet. I don't want to wear it too much so it becomes worn. That sounds a little silly. There's also the other reason that I don't usually go to places which require me to be any dressier than my usual loosely fitted everyday pants.

Brushed Cotton Check Pants

It feels like the gap in between my posts are stretched bigger and bigger. I'm permanently buzzing behind the scenes, be it fabric cutting or stamp carving. I also seem to have spent many hours getting stuck in various shops, buying more notions than making use of them. Or other times, I just totally fail to invest my time wisely. This morning, I spent an hour recharging our iTunes account. grr.... My relationship with technology has always been on and off.  Right now, I have no desire to deal with the slow internet. I just want to do some old fashioned sewing and knitting.

Purl Soho Sweatshirt Sweater in African Expressions Yarn

Happy Monday! I'm entering a new week, still machineless, with a new project to share. I think by now I am officially numb with all my ill-focused photos. My tripod is still in the store-room and nobody else was around but a six-year-old labor. I couldn't be too picky. These photos are the least blurry ones out of 100 more bursts....
